I tend to travel a lot and when I travel I prefer to leave my gold jewelry at home because you just never know what can happen when you are in a foreign country. So when I do, I wear my silver jewelry. My thinking is should I loose my sterling silver chains, bracelet or rings. I can easily replace them cheaply and inexpensively. Plus it looks great when sporting a tan.
